About Tithing
The principal of Tithing comes from the Bible. In Genesis 14:18-20 and 28:22 Abraham is instructed to offer 10% of what he makes to God, and this practice of tithing is now embraced by Jews, Christians, Muslims and most other faiths. Selfless giving is a central theme in most all the world's spiritual traditions, and has proven helpful to those who want to give back.
